How does QSeal differ from QES? +
A seal (QSeal) is issued to a legal entity (company); a signature (QES) — to a natural person. QSeal enables automated document signing by an IT system on behalf of the company (invoices, reports), without human involvement. QES always requires a conscious human decision.
Does QSeal work with KSeF? +
Yes. Poland's National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) requires signing structured invoices — qualified seal is officially listed as an accepted mechanism. Full automation: the accounting system signs invoices without human intervention.
What other uses besides KSeF? +

Is physical hardware required for QSeal? +
Standardly the seal is stored in an HSM (Hardware Security Module) at the trust provider — accessed via API with 2FA. A variant with a physical HSM card on customer premises is available for the largest companies.

Yes. Required: an active KRS entry (or equivalent for branches of foreign companies) plus verification of the person authorized to represent the entity. Process takes 3-7 business days — bilingual support (PL/EN).
